There will be more coming on this subject in the following days as the ECNA tries to get answers directly from the Village of Brockport Leadership and the Corporate Offices of Lineage Logistics Holding LLC, located in Michigan. Our first emails has gone unanswered to date, Brockport Government has known of this issue for 3 years, Lineage Logistics recently bought out Allied Frozen Storage, who instead of fixing their pollution issues at the Brockport Industrial Park, decided it was best to simply exit the business in Brockport

For now, go look at the air quality sensor information for the Brockport area and Empire Trail.

And if you wait a few minutes you will see spikes where the air quality is 7-8 times worse than the surrounding areas in Upstate NY. There is only one explanation for this heightened air quality issue in Brockport. That is the new firm Lineage who recently purchased most of Allied Frozen Storage facilities in our area, two of those facilities are in Brockport, directly across the Erie Canal from our neighborhood.

Well it appears that Lineage Logistics has heard the ECNA, and are responding to their quality issue with some additional analysis of their own. After turning their original Purple Air Sensor off, for more than a year, it is back on, right after the upper management  of Lineage Logisyics was contacted by the ECNA through email.

And the company has now doubled their Purple Air Sensor Monitoring, by adding another one, further down wind than the one located here at ECNA headquarters. So we have gone from one Purple Air Sensor in Brockport, to THREE now, with two located downwind of the pollution source, about a half mile apart.

Surely this added sensor was an attempt to verify our ECNA sensor data, which it did, before they turned it off this day.

Here's the original Purple Air Sensor named Lineage 1...showing medium air quality issues.

And here's the "new" Lineage 2 PA Sensor, it was not collecting live data this day, shutoff in the last 6 hours. The graph shows an average in the Red Zone at 129, which confirms the same elevated Air Contamination issues downwind from the TWO Lineage sites in Brockport

And here's the ECNA Sensor readings, just over the Erie Canal Embankment from Lineage Logistics Industrial Center

Still have not heard back from our Email to Lineage, hopefully that will change soon. There are easy solutions to most of the current pollution issues, both quality of the air and the noise pollution from running a cold storage facility. Hopefully in the next few weeks they will reach out and work with us to fix their issues, and restore our Brockport Neighborhoods back to clean, safe places to live.
