Of course some may argue that ex-POTUS Trump hasn't been convicted of insurrection (yet) and neither have any of the 1200 people who stormed the capital been charged with that crime. But some of those 1200 Americans, who tried to assist Mr Trump in his little rebellion against being called a "loser", have been charged with serious charges including Seditious Conspiracy. That crime is covered in this law:

18 U.S.C. § 2384 - U.S. Code - Unannotated Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure § 2384. Seditious conspiracy

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

And one person charged with that crime had direct contact with those in the circle of Donald Trump, and also said he was there at the urging of his president...hmm.

"We are going to the Capital" were the words Mr. Donald "Election Loser" Trump spoke on January 6th, and he knew this man and his legion of conspiracy believers would follow through, Trump's friend Roger Stone had met with him just a few days prior.

This what his lawyers said at his trial for Seditious Conspiracy:

Former Proud Boys national chair Enrique Tarrio — the man prosecutors have portrayed as the ringleader of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — told jurors Tuesday that he’s merely a scapegoat for the real culprit: Donald Trump.“It was Donald Trump’s words. It was his motivation. It was his anger that caused what occurred on January 6th in your amazing and beautiful city,” said Nayib Hassan, Tarrio’s lawyer, during closing arguments in a seditious conspiracy trial stemming from the Jan. 6 attack.

Or how about this guy, he also claimed to be answering the call from "his president" who had lost the election, and who's BIG LIE about election fraud was refuted.

I wonder if it's legal for a President of the United States, to run the country, while serving time in prison? It would be interesting to see " the big house" become The White House, if you think Mar-a-Lago was a mess, wait until we see how many documents show up with Trump's "prison pals".

Maybe someone should be looking this up in The Constitution, BEFORE it happens.
