Funny, that dog leash thing.

I've seen Eerie Agte walking around these parts on many occasions.

I've seen her passing trail walkers with her dog Reggie. She's passed me too many times for my liking.

Not once, not ever, have I seen Reggie sitting as I, or anyone else passed them by.

Not once have I heard her uttering a 'voice command' to her dog. He's usually rushing around all over the place.

Never under 'voice command' control. (She made that phrase up for sure)

This is a complete fanciful notion on her part!  Drama Queen comes to mind - again!

And just look how Ms. Agte and her crew answer STCC Member Deb Antoniades...

Kind of shows how Ms. Agte may "talk" about being "kind & courteous" and staying on topic... but honestly, it appears that the inmates are now running the Agte Asylum on Facebook

And here is part of Ms. Agte's latest rant about her trail plight on her Facebook Group page... once again she is right, all the rest of us concerned with canal integrity are wrong, just ask her.

We are "bullies" because we want Erie Canal Safety

Integrity? The woman is fighting AGAINST a State Agency who trying to repair a huge public safety issue along the Erie Canal. And her reason... shade, scenic views and her own blindness.

And this group, led by Ms. Agte, has never been "kind or courteous" to ANY member who questions their information, rebukes their leader, or questions the behavior of either Co-Founder.

Keep the Conversation on Topic Well that's a joke as well.

The latest conversation on Facebook by this group isn't about canal embankments. It's about leashing dogs on the Erie Canal Trail, which is REQUIRED by NYS...

Unless of course your name is Elizabeth Agte.

Agte is obviously mentally deranged.    :P     ???

One rule for us, but another for Reggie eh? (Reggie - the poor thing is her dog)

Sounds like another magic mushroom moment for our 'environmentalist forager'.

Once again, and true to form, Ms. Elizabeth Agte of a certain local Facebook group is showing her true colors... it's always about what Elizabeth wants in this "public group".

With little concern for what other Empire Trail users might say, Ms. Agte shrugs off a request from one of the members of her own Facebook group, who only requested she follow the Empire State Trail rules regarding dogs, leashes and what's allowed on the EST trail

Did you read that LAST COMMENT?

Deb Antoniades: Weíre unable to walk on the canal and elsewhere because of unleashed dogs. Iím not sure thatís fair. Your situation unfortunately isnít the norm.

Was Ms. Agte at all sympathetic to this!. Instead Ms. Agte simply changes the subject, and starts to makes excuses, to insure she is "right", and this member will be silenced.

First she says HER dog is "special" and she gets to make the rules, and of course, more brown-nosing ensues thereafter. All the regular brainwashed members jump to her aid...making excuses, talking about "other parks".

Elizabeth Agte has been called a "community leader" and concerned citizen. Seems that concern isn't for anyone but herself, and maybe letting her dog run free when it should be leashed.

Here's the REAL TRUTH about dogs on the Empire Trail System, from the OWNERS webpage Of course having unleashed dog on their trail is NOT what the New York State Canal Corporation or Parks & Trails says...after all they have a DEDICATED webpage showing the Empire Trail Safety Rules.

For those too lazy to click a link and read another webpage...

Here's a few of the ACTUAL rules regarding the Erie Canal Section of the Empire Trail System.

So If anyone reads this post and knows Ms. Deb Antoniades, send her along to this website below:

That is where anyone can submit a formal complaint against misuse seen along the Empire Trail and have the NYS Parks & Trails start watching the Perinton area for unleashed dogs. And the local Canal Corporation maintenance group will also be apprised of the issue as well.
