It looks like 'Blustering Bill' is out to please 'the fringe element' called the STCC again.
He did get one thing right, the NYPA are ignoring all the rhetoric and whining coming from this group, thankfully.

I'd like to see a list of their 'substantive Issues', and 'excellent comments' he refers to. I'll bet it runs along the lines of 'shade' (even for the fish in the canal - for crying out loud) and 'squirrels and musk rats need a home', and  'it's never failed before' etc. etc

Good grief Bill!  No regard for human life eh?  Don't care about the risk you've put our children in for over FOUR YEARS eh?

Disgraceful!

Eerie Agte does it - AGAIN!

Denial!   It's well known that dams fail, all around the world, all the time. Usually, it's most unexpected!

Eerie Agte seems to think SHE knows better than all the engineers around the world, who are telling everyone that a dam with insufficient pitch on its outboard slope, coupled with 150 feet tall trees each weighing over 200 tons, and brush so overgrown they are unable to be inspected, is DANGEROUS!

At least we now know she realises school children are there and at 'theoretical risk'. Whatever that is supposed to mean.

Risk is risk, YOUR children are at RISK- even Eerie Agte says so!

I don't know how anyone can sleep at night knowing these children are at ANY risk, especially when it is an easy fix.

CUT THE DAM TREES DOWN!

If folks are that worried we've lost a few trees (that are growing in the  wrong place) then plant a few somewhere safe, but NOT ON A DAM!

Want some saplings to plant to compensate for these DAM trees?
