Maybe wheel clamps should be placed on The Orange's 747, just in case it gets a bit hot for him and he tries to 'hop it' to Moscow.

Of course some may argue that ex-POTUS Trump hasn't been convicted of insurrection (yet) and neither have any of the 1200 people who stormed the capital been charged with that crime. But some of those 1200 Americans, who tried to assist Mr Trump in his little rebellion against being called a "loser", have been charged with serious charges including Seditious Conspiracy. That crime is covered in this law:

18 U.S.C. § 2384 - U.S. Code - Unannotated Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure § 2384. Seditious conspiracy

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

And one person charged with that crime had direct contact with those in the circle of Donald Trump, and also said he was there at the urging of his president...hmm.

"We are going to the Capital" were the words Mr. Donald "Election Loser" Trump spoke on January 6th, and he knew this man and his legion of conspiracy believers would follow through, Trump's friend Roger Stone had met with him just a few days prior.

This what his lawyers said at his trial for Seditious Conspiracy:

Former Proud Boys national chair Enrique Tarrio — the man prosecutors have portrayed as the ringleader of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — told jurors Tuesday that he’s merely a scapegoat for the real culprit: Donald Trump.“It was Donald Trump’s words. It was his motivation. It was his anger that caused what occurred on January 6th in your amazing and beautiful city,” said Nayib Hassan, Tarrio’s lawyer, during closing arguments in a seditious conspiracy trial stemming from the Jan. 6 attack.

Or how about this guy, he also claimed to be answering the call from "his president" who had lost the election, and who's BIG LIE about election fraud was refuted.

I wonder if it's legal for a President of the United States, to run the country, while serving time in prison? It would be interesting to see " the big house" become The White House, if you think Mar-a-Lago was a mess, wait until we see how many documents show up with Trump's "prison pals".

Maybe someone should be looking this up in The Constitution, BEFORE it happens.

thank you Mr. Caswell for giving our country a go...

Thank you Sir!  From one immigrant family to another. Let's not forget all the other Europeans who stole this wonderful land from the indigenous tribes in the first place, and the Africans who were brought here in chains. It's all perspective.

At least I came here in a 747, hard to walk in from England!

I believe the term another "world leader" already pinned on Mr Trump was "dotard"... someone whose age has impaired his intellect.

Sadly for Mr Trump, the intellect that was "impaired" wasn't much different than your typical 8th grade "bully" who's always stealing other kids' lunches.

And folks, you wouldn't be reading any of this great ECNA entertainment if it wasn't for an immigrant... thank you Mr. Caswell for giving our country a go...

I am an immigrant!  Tired of banging my head against 'the establishment' of the so called 'aristocracy' in England. A bunch of privileged people with dubious genetic heritage. Mainly crooks and pompous hangers  on to the current thieving 'royalists'.
I left England with a wonderful wife, two sons, 5 suitcases, and $4000 because I was sick to death of their nonsense.
I am SO GRATEFUL and honored to have become a USA citizen, and my businesses have made my family very successful. I could not have done that anywhere else.

We have helped start hundreds of small businesses doing plating and metal finishing. Our Caswell name is famous -just Google "electroplating kits" to prove my point.

It's a wonderful country, is the USA. BUT! Donald Trump has no idea!

This dullard could ruin everything that my family has worked so hard for.

"German on his father’s side, and Scottish on his mother’s. None of his grandparents, and only one of his parents, was born in the United States or spoke English as their mother tongue. For decades, Trump denied this German heritage"

AND that is why this piece of crap is one of the most useless articles on this planet

More TRUTH about Immigrants and how their decision to leave their native country and try a new life in the United States of America

On October 7, 1885, Friedrich Trump, a 16-year-old German barber, bought a one-way ticket for America, escaping three years of compulsory German military service. He had been a sickly child, unsuited to hard labor, and feared the effects of the draft.

It might have been illegal, but America didn’t care about this law-breaking—at that time, Germans were seen as highly desirable migrants—and Trump was welcomed with open arms. Less than two weeks later, he arrived in New York, where he would eventually make a small fortune.

More than a century later, his grandson, Donald Trump, became the 45th president.

Donald Trump is the son, and grandson, of immigrants: German on his father’s side, and Scottish on his mother’s. None of his grandparents, and only one of his parents, was born in the United States or spoke English as their mother tongue. For decades, Trump denied this German heritage.

I really didn't want to be the one to state the obvious... but in today's divided society maybe this thought has been forgotten:

The United States of America is a country governed by the "rule of law", meaning no one is above the law, it applies to all equally. And the guiding charter for our nation is called The Constitution of the United States, it has the basic rules & laws that we are supposed to live by. There are many laws, many rules, and most revolve around elements in this document we know at The Constitution.

By the way, that same Constitution is supposed to work no matter how "un-united" we might become in America... and that's what has some people worried.

And if you have noticed the trend lately, the major news sources are all talking about what might disqualify someone from becoming the LEADER of this great Nation, that is what might make someone INELIGIBLE to enter that political race for POTUS. And it all rests on the definition of a few words, insurrection, conspiracy & sedition.

And even more importantly, what United States Laws are being cited, because there are two different sets of laws that deal with "crimes against the country".

Most of the press is talking about the 14th Ammendment, it's focus is on politicians that act to promote rebellion or insurrection. It reads like this:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Of course there is also US Code, specifically Title 18 which covers CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, and Chapter 115 is focused on TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES. The law is similar to the Constitutional Amendment but isn't focused on politicians or holding office.

The US Code is for ALL CITIZENS and covers the LAW, and penalties for breaking the laws in Title 18, Chapter 115. Section 2383 which covers rebellion & Insurrection.

It reads as follows:

§2383. Rebellion or insurrection:  Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

So regardless of what some ex-president may be saying, or what some on the right or left may think... the law is pretty clear on this, please read it again;

Whoever INCITES, SETS ON FOOT, ASSISTS, OR ENGAGES in any rebellion, against the authority of the USA or it's LAWS, can be fined, imprisoned and oh yes... DISQUALIFIED from holding ANY office under the United States. It's just a matter of time folks, justice will be served, and we all may just see the first ex-president EVER to be charged with this serious crime, hopefully people are smart enough to learn from history and not elect him again.

And who do we have to THANK for that, what group of people came up with these ideals, these laws that run our Country?

Yes... every single signer of the Declaration of Independence, and everyone who worked hard in that first Continental Congress to create the Constitution of the United States, was an Immigrant, the child of an immigrant, or maybe even the grandchild of one of this nation's first immigrants, the Pilgrims. This is a fact, not debatable. We ARE an entire country that owes its existence and good fortune to IMMIGRANTS, and migrants, and refugees.

In their infinite wisdom these earliest immigrants who formed our nation, tried to insure that future immigrants (or their children) should not forget lessons learned in the journey to become an independent, democratically-run nation, that follows the Rule of Law.

Just a question, who was it that told an angry mob, who wanted to disregard the "authority of the United States" to go to Congress on January 6, 2021?

Go look at the videos of what most are calling Insurrection Day... and remember, No one is above the law in this country we call America.
