If you are interested in becoming a New York Parks & Trails Adopt a Trail Volunteer along the Erie Canal Trail (ECT) in the Brockport Area read on.

Here's a website to save -->

The ECNA has already adopted an Erie Canal Trail section in Perinton / Fairport area called the Oxbow Loop. so we will have a sign just like this along our new Brockport ECT section soon.

We have decided to adopt another section of the ECT this year, in Brockport NY. Our Brockport section will be identified with a sign at the Park Avenue bridge entrance, the other sign will be 2.2 miles east where the Sweden Walker Rd (Rt 260) bridge crosses over the's a nice walk or bike ride on the dam and next to the new Duncan Family Farm operation..

Here's the highlights of the Sponsor Agreement & Volunteer Registration paperwork, the full documents are available at the end of this post.

So if you would like to signup as an Adopt a Trail Volunteer, and help clean the Erie Canal Trail along the east side of Brockport, please fill out the Volunteer Registration form and help the Erie Canal Neighbor's Association effort. Form can be returned by contacting Doug K through the ECNA Forum

Almost forgot if you volunteer you also get a nice Adopt a Trail tee shirt to work in, while you help keep the Erie Canal clean... free trash bags included. Come have some fun... held keep the Erie Canal National Heritage Corridor a place everyone wants to come and visit.
