There is a chronic shortage of live yeast powder. Wegmans hasn't had any for weeks.
But, here's a way around it.

A bag of Wegmans White Pizza Dough 28 ounce has an active live yeast in it.

Simply, cut off a lump about the size of a golf ball.
Place it in a small bowl, along with a teaspoon full of flour and the same quantity of sugar.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of warm water, and stir until the dough has 'dissolved' into the liquid. Set aside for 2-3 hours in a warm place.
The yeast will bubble and ferment and you now have a live culture to add to any bread mix.
If you intend to do this frequently, cut the dough into golf ball sizes, and freeze them for later use.
