The shrill of the BANSHEE?  Wow! Doug!

A banshee (/ˈbnʃiː/ BAN-shee; Modern Irish bean s, from Old Irish: ben sde [bʲen ˈʃiːʲe], "woman of the fairy mound" or "fairy woman") is a female spirit in Irish folklore who heralds the death of a family member,[1] usually by wailing, shrieking, or keening.

Her name is connected to the mythologically important tumuli or "mounds" that dot the Irish countryside, which are known as sde (singular sd) in Old Irish.[2]

Well!  That reminds me of the three witches, Agte, Maier and was it Goldthorpe? We had some fun with that for a while!
