Here they go!

Is this a cry to arms? Are her Warriors getting their pitchforks out? Are they collecting chains  and cuffs for the inevitable 'I'm tied to this tree! You can't cut it down!" fiasco?

Who knows what is going on, but whatever, it should make a good movie!

Could be admitting to the inevitable, finally.

Sure she really meant to say embankment integrity would start to be restored on the eastside.

Of course the timing is wrong, the canal corp will wait until the towpath trail is less occupied, after dewatering in late November. At least that's what happened before.

Handcuffs and trees won't work, the police that get called to arrest them have keys. Protesting without a permit, public nuisance laws, sure they will be banned from the trail for awhile.

I'll be an extra in the movie.

Can I be in the movie, playing the concerned canal neighbor?

And just to be clear, clearing doesn't end with trees lying about for long, as shown in that picture.

Looks like this in no time at all, turf grass, cut to 6"

Hopefully everyone can appreciate this who understands the difference between "fact & fiction"
